Have you ever wondered if your drinking or drug use is a problem? Considered getting sober? Is your family telling you to get help? You are definitely not alone. Many people have wondered about their use after a blackout, an argument with a significant other or family member, a DUI, or a health concern but have not yet faced severe enough consequences to be identified as the stereotype of an “alcoholic” or “drug addict.”
I want to help you take control of your life by giving you the tools you need to make better choices when it comes to using drugs and alcohol without judgment or requiring abstinence and AA participation. Many times if we can identify the stressors and emotional issues that are causing us to reach for fast and temporary relief, we can also decrease or eliminate use.
If we determine together that more intensive treatment is appropriate, I can help ease the process of attending the intensive outpatient program at Matrix Institute or other local treatment center.
